Are you still waiting for your knight in shining armor to knock at your door? Go directly to your laptop to Match.Com, Plenty of Fish, Jdate, or some other social networking site. It is true that online dating can work if you have a sense of humor and are willing to be patient. Just as you have your choice of desserts, there are multitudes of profiles belonging to people waiting to meet you! Each one of my dates presented an “ah ha” moment, something positive to take away from the experience. A healthy attitude about your own self worth is paramount! After reading profile after profile from potential suitors who either emailed or instant messaged me, I started to see patterns of specific personalities. It occurred to me that I was attracting different types of men who each represented a different cake recipe, and it inspired me to mix, stir, and bake! Some of my recipes came from my friends and family, and many more came from the internet. I truly had a ball sharing these treats with my family and friends. I love to cook and create, so this process allowed me freedom of expression that you can only imagine. As I said before, have fun and enjoy your newfound freedom. You go girl! Make yourself a cake and declare, “This slice is for me because I deserve it.” But, be sure to share! I had parties and gave the leftovers to everyone who wanted some. Spread the joy of baking!
It is important to remember to enjoy your life while you’re waiting for the special guy to come along. Dating is hard though it isn’t rocket science. We can all use some advice when it comes to finding our "Bershet "(a true soul mate in Hebrew).
